Winchcombe New Builds

The ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe, which means “valley with a bend”, is situated in a beautiful Cotswold valley mid-way between Broadway and Cheltenham. The picturesque town centre has three main streets, with stone cottages and black and white half-timbered buildings.

Winchcombe offers an excellent range of day to day facilities including independent shops, inns, restaurants (including one with a Michelin star), doctors and dentists’ surgeries and library as well as primary and secondary schools.

Soak up the scenery with a walk or cycle around this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or a stroll alongside the River Isbourne.  JRR Tolkien enjoyed this area and it is thought that he gained inspiration for some of the locations within his books.

In the immediate vicinity is Sudeley Castle with its 10 magnificent gardens.  Katherine Parr, the 6th wife of King Henry VIII, is entombed in the church.  She is the only English queen to be buried on private land.

Croome Park, is another close by attraction with the spectacular grounds designed by Capability Brown. He not only designed the grounds but was the architect behind the Palladian) style remodelling of the house. Knarsboro Homes’ latest development is Six Penny Mews, a collection of three detached properties and two apartments situated in a quiet cul de sac setting.  They offer spacious modern living with a  high specification finish throughout.
